Since 2021 AADE's myDATA platform makes real-time transmission of every commercial document mandatory. Your software must translate invoices, delivery notes, no-charge deliveries, refunds, bank reconciliation receipts and similar into the canonical AADE markup (myDATA Document Type) and POST to the REST endpoint. Case study 1: Thessaloniki distributor on Entersoft field-sales

A Thessaloniki-based food distributor serving northern Greece and the Bulgarian border ran on Entersoft Business Suite. An often-missed dimension of Greek software is the correct UTF-8 storage of the extended Greek character set. Older Microsoft SQL Server installs configured with Greek_CI_AS collation produce double-stored characters and broken sorting. ZunaPro provisions PostgreSQL with el_GR.UTF-8 locale and creates indices with COLLATE "el-GR-x-icu", ensuring proper case-folding (Σ ↔ σ ↔ ς) and accent-insensitive search.

Greek employment law layers 13th and 14th salaries (αμοιβές δώρα), wage-transparency rules (Παύλος Νόμος), employer contributions (EFKA 22.5% + 13.3% = 35.8%) and ergonomic inspections. If your software serves Greek SMEs the payroll module must emit EFKA APD (Monthly Declaration) XML, ΑΠΔ submission and εργατικό μητρώο — otherwise your client's accountant works Excel manually.

Most myDATA AADE transmission failures (~4% failure rate) come from overloaded AADE servers at month-end, network timeouts, stale TLS or expired tokens. The ZunaPro AADE connector retries 5 times with exponential backoff (1, 2, 4, 8, 16 minutes) on each failure, holds the payload in a persistent queue and on success writes the AADE-returned MARK reference to the database; on failure an alert email goes to the admin.
