Inventory physically stored in a state generally creates physical nexus there under post-*Wayfair* rules — meaning you may need to register, collect and remit sales tax in Texas and/or New Jersey. Two big mitigants: (1) if you sell through marketplace facilitators (Amazon, Walmart, eBay), the marketplace collects and remits for you in all states — you may only need to register; (2) storage fees themselves are not taxed. Full FBA-compliant prep from $0.55/unit: FNSKU labeling (covering the manufacturer barcode), poly-bagging with suffocation warnings, bubble wrap for fragiles, bundling/kitting with "sold as set" labels, expiration-date labeling, and carton-level box content information. We build your shipping plan cartons to Amazon specs and forward them to FBA fulfillment centers via Amazon partnered carriers (UPS) at cost. Your bulk stock stays with us; only what FBA needs goes in.
You keep buffer inventory on our racks; we ship into Walmart Fulfillment Services intake on a schedule or trigger you define (e.g., when WFS stock drops below 3 weeks of cover).
